Jennifer Messelier from France won the world final of the
Elite Model Look contest held in
Prague, Czech Republic. She is 16 years old and stands 178 centimeters (5' 10") I know to some of you that might seem too young but in actuality, this is the ideal age for a young model to begin her career. What does she get? She will get a two-year contract guaranteeing the income of 150,000 dollars.
Elite Model Look of The Year contest launched the careers of top models such as
Cindy Crawford, Stephanie Seymour, Tatjana Patitz, Gisele Bundchen and many other stars of the profession. It's like "American Idol" for for models--even the models who don't win the title (such as Cindy Crawford) go on to become Supermodels!
